  1. That's fantastic - in such a short period of time - but I must say you guys have the very best prizes on offer for your challenges - a lot of other blogs have fallen to relying on digi-stamps only and some of us well just haven't gotten into digi... hugs and may you be around for years & years to come... Mxx

  3. Hi Ladies. Many congratulations on reaching this milestone and may it long continue to grow.
I love my Cuttlebug for its practicality, being portable and easy to move, and its just perfect for all my fabby embossing folders, which add lovely texture and designs to any creation. I would never get rid of my little Cuttlebug at all.
    Happy crafting.

  4. Congrats ladies! My favorite part of manual die cut machines are the embossing folders...hands down! They add so much dimension and visual interest. I use them a lot and my collection of them has grown :)

  5. Congrats on the 100 follower mark! I love my Cuttlebug. It was one of the first "machines" I got when I started "serious" (haha) card making because I love how dry embossing looks and the added texture and interest it adds to a project. I love how if I'm working on something and don't have a design paper to match my vision, I can take a piece of regular 'ol cardstock, run it through my Cuttlebug and have a fantastic background in 30 seconds :)

  9. CONGRATS on reaching over 100!!!!
Your blog is wonderful and you guys are the sweetest people.
Well my Cuttlebug is my baby. It was my first machine and when it broke I almost cried. Luckily I was able to open her up and do a little Cuttlebug surgery and fix her right up. (I have pictures. lol complete details on my 3/28 blog post)
I love the textures embossing with my folders adds to my projects.
I love that it is designed to work with folders and dies from multiple sources because one can not have too many toys after all.
Thanks for the chance to win a little surprise.
    Hugs

  11. Wonderful One Hundred! Congrats!

I am very happy to be a follower to Cuttlebug Mania. The projects posted are so sweet and the challenges are quite fun. :)

The Cuttlebug is one of my essential tools and is used on every card of mine. I just love it. When I go to a friend's place for a card making session, the Cuttlebug is packed. It is versatile: embossing, cutting, fancy folds. I purchased my Cuttlebug two years ago this December and I cannot believe the changes in my paper projects! It has opened up a whole new world of paper crafting possibilities! It is surprising how a compact little machine can do so much!

    Congrats again on the 100!

  14. Fab number of followers. Congrats! I have a Big Shot (black & pink version - but isn't the new colour so pretty?), for my regular dies & embossing folders & whereas I do love my Silhouette Cameo, it doesn't give an embossed look that can be achieved with a manual die-cutter & so there are some occasions that only that will do. Love embossing folders - almost instant texture!
Good luck for your continued success & thanks for offering us all a chance to win some goodies too.
    Tine :)

I can hardly remember what it was like to make cards before I had my Cuttlebug! I think I use it in almost every card, whether for embossing or die cutting, and I'd hate to be without it now!

  18. Congratulations on reaching 100 followers and thankyou for the great challenges!
I've had my cuttlebug for quite a few years now and use it for nearly every card! I love tactile things and embossing folders give cards a whole new dimension of texture! I also love die cutting. My hubby made me about 12 new B plates from a sheet of Perspex as my original ones were so bent and cut they were unusable! :) Cathy x

  19. Congrats on reaching 100 followers. You girls do a great job here.

I love my cuttlebug. I find that cutting with dies in manual cutting machines gives a nicer finish to the die cut. Ones cut from electronic cutting machines tends to leave a raw finish. I hope I'm making sense. And of course manual machines are so easy to use and you have less paper wastage (is that a word?).

  20. Congrats. I love my cuttlebug (& grand calibur) as they are easy to use but with them, you can make a card look fantastic.. The choice of dies & embossing folders means you can adapt any idea-nothings impossible.

    1. Thank you for all your amazing comments. I keep my Cuttlebug under my desk, but maybe I should have it on my desk as I use it so much :) I agree that the cuts are so crisp even with any make of dies. Cathy, I love the idea of making your own plates, you could start your own business.

  24. Well done you lot. I always said I would not want a cutting machine but I did take the plunge about 2 years ago and love, love, love my Cuttlebug, it has taken my crafting to a new level. xxxxx

  25. I love my Sizzix & Vagabond cutting & embossing machines. I like embossing folders for the look & convenience of the look the embossing gives to the creation. I learned to emboss with a lightbox, stylus & t3emplate when my hubby bought me a Fiskars embossing kit several yrs ago. I still emboss that way every once in a while and takes more work than the embossing folders.

  27. I have had a Cuttlebug for a long time - I got it not long after the debut. Just a glance at the "b" plates will tell you how much I use it - nearly always at least once per card. Recently, it did begin to protest with a little groan, so I decided it was time to get a Vagabond (which also helps my aching wrists) - now I use both.

  28. Congratulations on reaching your first 100! I bet there will be many more to come!
I used to have a big shot but I sold it because I struggle to use it. I tried the Bug at my craft group and I was impressed with how easily I was able to turn the handle - a couple of months later my hubby bought me my Bug and I've never had a problem turning the handle!
I love my wee Bug because she helps me create beautiful textured backgrounds and professional and beautiful flowers and embellishments - I love my Bug very much indeed hugs Karen x

  29. Oh well done ladies on reaching 100 followers! I've just read the comments left by so many sweet followers and want to just add one little word of tongue in cheek warning. I spotted quite a few girls who come and play in the Snippets Playground a lovely but totally barking bunch!

Like others, I think my beloved Cuttlebug would be the very last thing I'd ever be without. It's pink and pretty and sits on the desk all the time. From embossing to die cutting images as well as making beautiful embellishments it's my craft room best friend, mwah xx

Love your challenges and am just working on a card for this current one - long may you continue.

    Hugs, Di

I love my Cuttlebug very much. I used it almost on every project because it gives something extra's to my cards or projects.

  33. Congratulations on reaching this milestone! I absolutely love my Cuttlebug and embossing folders. I spend several hours per week taking plain pieces of paper and turning them into something beautiful by simply using my Cuttlebug and an embossing folder. It is such a joy to be able to use these tools to make special cards for people. Don't know what I ever did without my Cuttlebug and supplies!!!

  34. I use my Cuttlebug on almost every card I make for either embossing or die cutting. I also own a Grand Calbur but my CB is my first string machine. :) I love how easy it is to use and how the embossing folders add just that special touch to any project.

  37. I was just sorting out my Inbox and found an email from you telling me about starting this blog (yup, my Inbox was SERIOUSLY in need of a clean out, lol) Thank goodness I found it - now I've found you again :-) Now, the reason I LOVE my (pink!) Cuttlebug is that it's so easy to use, embosses as it cuts (I have an electronic cutter that I never use, shame, because it's complicated to set up and the cuts look "flat") AND has a huge range of dry embossing possibilities. Add to that the tiny footprint and portability... what's not to love? lol. Donna x

  41. Yeah!! I love my manual die cutting machine simply because it is easy to use and soooo flexible! It can create an embossed or debossed look. It can cut out dies (shapes or boxes/backgrounds)It's not heavy and I can take it anywhere. It is the one thing that would be replaced IMMEDIATELY if it was broken, lost, or something else!
