Things to Die For - Sticky Stuff

Welcome to our 2nd instalment of Things to Die for and this month it's Sticky Stuff. There are so many products out there it's hard to choose from them all. I'm sure we've all bought tape that doesn't stick, glue that's gloopy and fancy tape guns that are a nightmare to reload and end up in a tangle!! But there are some awesome products out there and we all have our favourites that we use time after time, so we'd love to hear about your top 3 must have Sticky Stuffs. Here are the design teams favourites and it looks like we are in agreement on some of them -

Kerry -

1) The Sukura Quickie Glue Pen is a must have - it's perfect for tiny die-cuts and adding glitter to your products.
2) I love this tape from Fred Aldous. It super sticky, you get loads on a role and it comes in 3 widths.
3) Aleene's Fast Grab glue is fantastic for heavier items such as buttons and large gems.

Jannie -

1) My numero Uno would be the Scotch Advanced Tape Glider, it is the best! At First I had to get used to it but now I can’t live without it!
2) My second best would be Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue! It is super!!
3) And my Quickie Glue pen, it glues all my teeny tiny bits!!

Deneen -

1. Tombow Diamond Dot Adhesive - I use the Tombow for my corners (I hate when my corners don't stick down). I also love the Diamond Dot because it comes apart and that allows me to use the adhesive to adhere little flourishes etc.
2.  UHU Glue Stick - and then I use the glue stick for the rest of the paper piece.
3.  Sookwang (Scor-Tape) Double Sided Adhesive - I use the Sookwang to adhere any ribbons and flowers...I like knowing that it's not going to fall off, I also use it for assembling 3D items like my paper purse, again I like to know that it's not going to fall apart later.

  1. Thank you for the tip.
I use the ATG for my cards.
*Using the dot runners for corners is a super idea.
I use Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive for putting my cuts together.
*Using the Quickie pen would help with those tiny, tiny pieces.

  3. Hi, I have a limited range of "sticky stuff". The 3 things I reach for are about the only 3 I own, it just depends on what I'm trying to glue. X-press it double sided tape; Helmar Professional acid free glue and for tougher items like metal or non adhesive bling, Glossy Accents. I do have a zig glue pen, but find that a toothpick and the Helmar glue works fine :) Cathy x
